Unlike other tools, this is a group that has different font experts. So, if you want to know which font was used in an image, you will have to post it, and then wait for the experts to reply to it.

Other option that it provides is that you can set specific parameters, and it will display particular fonts that fall into it.

This is a browser addon that will identify the fonts used in a particular web page. After installing this addon, all you have to do is, hover your cursor over the text of which you want to identify the font, and it will get you what you want. Simple as that. But there are some limitations; it can only be used in Safari and Chrome browsers.
For people who don’t like or don’t use Chrome or Safari (for some reasons), this is for you, because it is an add-on for Fire fox. But for this to work, you will have to do some additional work. You will have to highlight the font of which you want the details, right click, after that selects Font Finder. Now it will show you the complete information about what kind of fonts is being used in that particular highlighted text.
