The whole world considers FPS games mainstream but still play them and love them. These games make you sweat and get adrenaline rush when you’re about to get killed and they produce a ton of positive and cool emotions inside all of us. Every gamer likes FPS games, although not all. Piercing the NPC’s with bullets, smashing them with swords and casting destruction spells at them and all that from the perspective of you. The ability to jump straight into action is what makes this genre so popular and played all around the globe (maybe even some aliens are playing FPS games as well (the ones where they shoot themselves)). We have scrounged up another list of peak five. This time the peak five is the peak five first person shooter games available for PS4 that came up this year.
Table of Contents
In case you’re wondering what the hell is this game doing on this list consider that the FPS option available in the game is very popular so this game is technically a FPS. Strange right? But, who are we to argue, that’s what experts and game makers say. GTA 5 is an absolutely amazing game with a gigantic world, eye-candy and beautiful graphics, addictive gameplay, nice story, ability of switching between the 3 main characters: a vulgar psycho, wealthy man with relationship issues and a gangster. There is also that famous freedom of doing whatever you want in game: killing random people, going out to different places like striptease clubs, heisting (new feature) etc. All GTA games are praised all around the world, not only the latest GTA 5.
- Gigantic, breathtaking, beautiful, living and colorful world
- Ability to switch between 3 main characters
- Superb story and gorgeous voice acting
- Upward number of heists would be a welcome addition
- Multiplayer is not what it is expected of it
- Online playing is a bit broken
If you loved the prequels, then you will love this game. If you didn’t like the prequels, especially the Far Cry 3 or Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, then this game is not for you. Not much has changed from Far Cry 3 besides the fact that you are no longer in the lush tropics. The game is set on the Himalayas when the locals are civil warring against each other. All the features from the prequel are present: driving, gliding, hunting, zipping etc. The plot is nice and will keep you intrigued. However, the great new option in the game is the ability to get more players Co-op without charge, even though they do not have a full product. This game is absolutely worth your time.
- New, stunning wildlife
- Gigantic world
- If you pre-ordered the game, you get gratis limited edition
- Absence of bonus when killing war elephants
- Not much different from the prequel
- Controversial art
- Servers may cause problems when launched
Every gamer gets excited when a new annual-released COD hits the market. This a bit mainstream game offers something new and is becoming a bestseller like all of its prequels. This franchise is if not the most popular and famous FPS genre game franchise in the entire gaming history. Activision pops up a new COD each year, and has been doing so for many years and it will continue doing so. Each new COD brings new characters or old characters and has a phenomenal multiplayer which is very popular. .
- Great characters like Kevin Spacey
- Fantastic multiplayer
- Zombies are back in action
- Futuristic and juicy gadgets and weaponry
- Expensive season pass which is 50 US dollars
- Set items in every place
- Not much different from its prequels
- Mediocre campaign, nothing special
While underrated by many for expecting a divine game, Destiny actually offers a nice gaming experience. With its almost infinite loot feature, players will be entertained for many hours. It comes with ability for a player to play singleplayer with other players and interact with them. Many multiplayer content will be released soon and will make this game more and more fun and addictive. Bungie did not deliver and couldn’t deliver a HALO like game because HALO is HALO just like Mass Effect universe is only Mass Effect universe.
- Most awesome looking skies in gaming history, agreed by many
- Massive quantity of loot
- Experience of sharing the world
- Amazing combat system
- Diversity of the missions is small
- Classes are too alike
- Story could be much better thought
Isolation can be called a video game, unlike Colonial Marines. I think a lot of people agree with me. But the game is designed to be a horror, it is fortunately and it’s a plus. It’s designed to kick you out of the underwear. Basically, you play as a woman called Amanda who is pursuing her own mother. Later on, she found out that the crew and all inhabitants were slaughtered by the alien, on the space ship she was located on. Then she attempts to save her own life passing through encounters which will surely grey you hair. This game is not a bestseller, but it may be worth your time and attention.
- Very disturbing
- Not its prequel
- Terrifying but great presentation
- Kicks out of your underwear setting
- Falter pace
- AI of enemies lack brains
- Not scary at all times
- It’s made based out on movie
