Child of Light
Amazing graphics like water colors are the standout feature of this game. One reviewer thought that they looked like they were painted onto his screen. Child of Light does not kowtow to genre standards, but still manages to fit in. The unique storyline and unconventional characters mix real-time and turn-about strategies leading to a game that is deeply satisfying. Perhaps it doesn’t have the RPG depth that it really needs, but overall an excellent game.
One downside – the characters speaking poetry can be really irritating.

Costume Quest 2
This is a deceptively simple game. Halloween themed, your group of revelers travel through time to make the holiday, unlawful in the future, lawful once more. Your fighting style depends on the costume you put on, a costume that you can change as you go. Interesting, but some players feel that the game still retains some of the ideas carried over from the original game. All-in-all though a fun introduction to RPG.
